Hi quick question. Going on a 5 day bike tour today (nothing like last minute question) and thinking of ratchet strapping rucksack on tail of my 07 blade. Only thing worrying me is the heat from the underseat exhaust. Anybody can tell me how they overcome this problem or if it was a problem at all. Many thanks.
Yeah, big problem if you're thinking of running a strap under the exhaust as I kept melting mine when I was running soft panniers. Ended up using 2 bungees diagonally down to the pillion pegs, not perfect, but did the job.
