Balance free shock fitment

    Evening folks, advice needed please. I'm looking to upgrade my 08 shock with a balance free version from a 12 bike and wondered if it was a straight swap? I have a Honda hugger fitted too and didn't know if I would have any problems fitting with that.

    The shock is a straight swop and is a big improvement If you have a standard short hugger you'll need to get the later one as the 2012 shock won't fit with a 2009 hugger

    Thanks Wurzel. I have the Honda racing hugger fitted, will it fit with that? image.jpeg

    You might need to cut a notch in it to clear the shock but otherwise will be fine.

    A superb upgrade for little money ...

    I've got a 8 - 11 hugger on a 14 bike....had to cut a notch in it.....carnt see it ...if ya dont go mental with the dremmel
