Hello guys how are you today??? I'm not asking answer me if you are OK...

    My case...

    http://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/new-on-the-forum-club-from-cyprus.30824/

    Update on my case...
Just came back from my second visit on the bike...
I checked all the fairings and they are HONDA OEM(rear fender, front fender, nose, tail sides, under tails etc)... The only ones i couldn't find the HONDA stamp are the two big ones on the two sides. They removed most of the screws, i didn't want them to remove the whole front nose to remove the sides because I didn't want them to break anything and I was sure I was going to see the HONDA stamp ,and i could see most of the inside of the fairings by bending them except where the heat-shields are .... Where is the HONDA stamp on these two fairings I only saw a big R pointing the right side ... The guys left them open to check them again...
From my experience they didn't seem aftermarket though , and even the heat/shield was pre cut and the quality you see on the originals... As for the little difference I, and my friend Dave notice is because the right fairing was little scratch and the previous owner decide to paint the fairings with the exact paint and because the stickers/graphics was 500 euro all together the previous owner didn't want to give that and the black graphics is paint...Excellent job thought...
And the bike was bought new in Cyprus so I'm calling tomorrow to the HONDA offices to find out more information if they are not bored...

This is the only thing keeping me away from her... Please any photos will help...

Hello Dave ,how are you mate...
Yeah, all the fairings ,including the two side ones , are original I'm 100% sure now...
And I traced the first owner, and he told me that most of the kilometres tha bike has are in cruising mode...
And that he did a recall regarding the oil consumption by overhauling the bike In the HONDA dealer, and that this bike didn't need the clutch/crankshaft recall because it's a late model...
To tell you the truth the first bike I saw was whining as hell ,and this one does not at all...Ether way I'm taking it to the HONDAs mechanic tomorrow and if everything end up ok I will come home with her...

Thank you all guys for your help, and especially you Dave...Wish her luck...

on my 09, HONDA is stamped vertically, just in front of the rear heat shield pad. that's on the left side fairing.

Thanks MPJ... I already figured it out...
Honda found a way to mess with me ,again... In the 08 is behind the shield... Yes that's right ,the shield is covering it
Look this two examples I found on ebay, with the Repsol one missing this particular piece of shield...

The stamp on mine is slightly obscured by the padding but still visible, possibly you could loosen it off and get your hand behind or maybe use a telescopic mirror and a torch. BTW the shield just sticks on, I seem to remember the outline for it is pressed in..

I'm sure it's OEM ...I saw the R letter and the inside is exactly as in the pictures...
And all the heat shields is as it should...You won't find this shield on aftermarkets...
I just didn't know where to look for the stamp...
    Thank you...

I wish it was that easy... Even to take the bike to Greece which is supposedly our motherland , is going to cost me a lot...
Even though we are both in Europe and we are basically the same nation, because we are the central of 4 continents and for benefits reasons(for the government ofcourse) our ports (not our borders, thats opened) is not opened and to bring or take a bike off shore it going to be treat it as you exporting goods...
We are trying now to change that but....

Hello guys ,sorry I didn't update yesterday ,but I came home late and I was beat up...
She's mine... I brought her home...
It has an issue thought. Without raising any temperature , when I came home and switch off the bike, the hose coming out from the
radiator reservoir container was pouring out fluid and a bubble noise was coming from the container , i immediately put my ear next to the
radiator cap and a fssss noise was there... I thing the cap its not good and its letting pressure to go to the reservoir...
Do your thing guys is something more serious ???
