Just had a new garage door fitted today, unfortunately I had to go out so left the tradesmen to get on with it, upon returning home I checked to ensure all was well but noticed my bike is now covered in a film of brick dust with the exception for upper surfaces someone decided to wipe down leaving the paint looking as though it has been washed with a scouring sponge.

I'm absolutely livid and will certainly get in contact tomorrow to discuss the matter with the firm however as the bike is an 09 model it has plenty of stone chips and I suspect I'm going to get told to sod off.

Anyone know how much a decent full respray is likely to cost?

If you've got before and after pictures its still going to be a battle but if not its your word against his. If they come back with you should've covered the bike its their job to cover stuff not yours and leave the place as they found it. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Wow, that would be amazing I'm in Bracknell Berkshire. I did wonder if it might be possible to do something. Where are you based trueuk. I'm still waiting for the garage door firm to call me back, I'll try and get some better pictures tomorrow.

I'm near Birmingham. to be honest you could sort it out yourself with some cutting paste. its only light hazy scratches from what I can see. but if you fancy a ride to my bodyshop we would sort that out for you in half an hour no probs
