158bhp and 111ft/lb torque ain't bad for a naked. Although I suppose it is what was expected. http://gearheads.org/yamaha-2016-mt-10-specs-finally-filter-down/
It's 111 nm which is about 82ft torque. Still good. Just hope it feels lighter than my fz-1 naked which was unwieldy to push about, compared to the blade. Not that I'm getting one !
Seems they're using one in the Dave Coates stunt show at the Mt Dark Side tour on at Squires Cafe this weekend. Also got an mt10 wheelie machine & demo rides on it Hoping to pop up & have a look!

Here we are after 350 km Great hooligan bike brake are ok suspension are lot better of cb1k , s1000r and gsx-s1000 fuel consumption bit high but who cares
Rode one of these a few weeks ago! Stonking engine but for me that's as far as it goes! Talk about uncomfortable!! After 40 mins and was desperate to get off the thing! I also think for a naked upright bike it's not very ergonomic! I hate the look and the brakes are seriously lacking for something so quick! Also the motor sounded like a bag of old nails on tickover and under load! Just my opinion, they seem to be selling like hot cakes down here but have noticed most have opted for the softer seat option and more ergonomic bars! Really wasn't my cupa tea....
Intermot show has just shown the new MT-10 SP based on the R1 hand-me-downs. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/...termot-hot-new-2017-yamaha-mt-10-sp-revealed/
