Iv never been to impressed with the front brake it's a 2010 abs before everyone starts there's nothing wrong with the abs it works fine the stopping power that I'm not to impressed with its on original discs done 7000 miles there very slightly scored iv seen some brembo serie oro discs at a good price would these make a noticeable difference or would it be a waste of money

Put Oros on my ABS as the OEMs were under the minimum thickness, TBH not a noticeable difference really.
Oros are only a OEM equivalent really just much cheaper!

unless the discs are out of wear tolerances then I think your money could be better spent on a master cylinder and brake line upgrade although I'm not sure if the master cyl is any different on the abs models.

Ive had 4 or 5 fireblades ranging from a rr4 through to my current 12 plate non abs and inbetween then I have had a s1000rr , the first thing I noticed when I got back on a blade is how poor the brakes are compared to newer models or the previous bmw rr

ive just cleaned my calipers out and put in fresh Honda pads and some hel lines but think I may end up fitting a master cylinder also.

I'm sure there will be someone with more knowledge than me to provide some extra help on the matter

Is this for track or road? If its for track I cannot comment as i'm not a track guy. However if its for road then I'd ask why you need more stopping power? I've had an 08 and 14 plate blade and the brakes are very good. I'd say I'm a quick road rider and I've had some OMG moments but the brakes on both bikes have never let me down.

Might be a case of, as some people have suggested above, with changing pads, checking lines and disc. You might be spending money on something that isn't the cause of the poor braking power.
