Anyone got one yet ? How are they for noise...."heard" they were quieter than NXR, spirit 2 etc Thanks..
I'm loving the TC2! Very tempting, super comfy and amazing quality, just not liking the extra weight! They have them over at Crecsents in Verwood Max go try one on
I've tried one on in the shop, they fit nice... Ghostbikes have the best deal on painted models at the moment..£599 with an extra visor and £50 voucher... I usually use sportsbikeshop as they price match and have a good returns setup Tempted by a matt black one but the finish on my NXR indy is so good, not a mark on it after a years use..
Ive had rx7 Arai's for years and they have done me proud in a few offs I've had so was a toss up between another Arai or a x spirit 3 Went with the x spirit in plain white in the end. Fits me far better than the Arai and would say is a little more noisy but this is to be expected with a helmet of this type, also feels a bit lighter when its on. there's a few reviews on youtube and the technology that's went into them is very impressive. Very happy with mine and I dont think you'll be disappointed if you get one
Thanks for the info. So you reckon it's noisier than an Rx 7 ? Same size lid ? Do you wear ear plugs..?
Very slightly more noisy but then again its quite a personal thing , to someone else it may be quiet or really noisy. I dont wear ear plugs and find it just fine for day to day use and I was a different size in a shoei Id recommend going and getting measured at a shoei stockist and finding out your exact size then you can order online etc and it will fit properly The first helmet I've had that you can actually feel the vents working aswell. Did prefer the arai visor changing system though.
Thanks Grant. Had an NXR for a year now, very happy with it, just fancy a change. Was measured up at a Shoei 5 star centre. Funnily enough I am an extra small in NXR but not in an x spirit 3...I'm a small with an extra small skull cap. Feridax put that down to the internal shape of the helmet, the difference in the materials used in the cheek pads (one a race lid, the other a more all rounder)etc So, yes you are right, size one up and try it on as not every Shoei is the same.. Had an Arai rebel before, much prefer the Shoei..
