My Bazzaz rubbed slightly with vortex rearsets on my 09. Spaced the rearsets out and made sure the linkage was as far out on the spline as possible. No drama. My 2014 has enough to clearance without needing spacers.

I can't think of a reason why spacing out your rearsets slightly would cause a problem with the QS.

Trying to find photos of mine but that doesn't look right ?. Did you get any other parts with the kit ? Is it from an rr4/5 ?
Think the gear shift should be bolted as the original , have to say I'm not totally sure about Gilles, but the gear change forces will be totally different from up / down so you will need to alter the settings on the QS.
Sorry not much help but sure looks odd !!

Will post a pic tomoz if I can dig my way to the bike in the shithole that is my garage !!

It's because the rod now needs to be ever so slightly longer again, just adjust it.

Looks like you're changing the orientation of the shift linkage between those last two photos. Maybe that's got something to do with it? Are those hm shift sensors both push and pull and do you have to change them over in the settings?

In the top photo your shift linkage is running above the gear spindle. In the bottom photo the linkage is running below the spindle. This will change it from standard to race pattern. Maybe this is messing around with your quickshifter.
