Ticking sound

Hey guys I've been noticing a ticking sound coming from my engine, I've gone to honda and they told me they didn't know what it was so I decided to try my luck online. My bike is a 2011 fireblade with just over 9k miles and the sound it's making is exactly like this one. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

 

just sounds like a noisey rocker to me,think most blades,even my bm's have done it.

It's early days bud but get ya shims checked if I were you

 

Possible loose timing chain rattle due to a faulty cam chain tensioner not taking out the slack.
Hope it's nothing major and a straight forward fix once the problem is diagnosed. Good Luck

 

Camchain tensioner is the first port of call of be looking at mate.

Notorious for failing on these bikes unfortunately.

Mine had s loud ticking noise, changes the oil, job was a good one.

 

Other thing to consider is an exhaust manifold that is leaking from 1 of the ports.

 

My 3 week old, 1000 mile 2016 blade has this noise. I'll start panicking when you do.
