Can you buy tickets on the gate at Silverstone for the Motogp tomorrow?

My Dad bought one for tomorrow for £100 on the gate earlier today. I think they've put the price up because of who got pole position!! I had to drive 65 mile round trip to pick mine up from the sorting office this morning because I kept missing the courier.

I just got home from the event and I thought it was absolutely fantastic. Although my Dad and mate who drove are still in the car park as the organisation of the traffic is the worst I've seen.

We had a great view of abbey corner and a big screen right in front and the atmosphere was electric.

Only advice would be to ride a bike to the venue, or park a van with a couple of push bikes in it a couple of miles away from the track in a near by village or something because otherwise you'll be sat in your car for a long old time trying to escape.

A number of friends went for the weekend - they camp at Whittlebury Park and then its 10 minute walk to circuit, after the event the traffic is OK from there which is a bonus.

Think weather Saturday was a challenge with the wind and rain but today looks to have made up for it - plus they met Rossi on the Friday evening after one of the stage events.

I hope the prices did not change after the qualifying - I don't they would have the nerve / be allowed, they really encourage advance sales.

I think its just too expensive at £100 for an adult on the day - pre-book at the NEC Bike show and you often get deals, 2 years ago I got whole weekend roaming admission for £50 with a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
