Supertech R Inner Boot

Does anyone know if you can buy these separately? A blooming mouse decided to nest in the box containing my brand new unworn boots and has chewed the inners

Said mouse is now sleeping the long sleep with a broken neck. Such is the joy of country living.

 

Will your House insurance cover it? Maybe it had a nibble of some of your old leather gear too that needs replacing
Or...just pop a really thick sock on that foot

 

Not worth doing on the insurance, would mean 5 years of getting extra raped on premiums.

 

I've heard Alpinestars are pretty good with repairing their gear. Not had any experience myself yet though.

If you take them to your local Astars dealer, they will send them off for you.

Well after all this time I still haven't sorted these out.

I have had a set on order to April, and have now doubled down and ordered a complete new set of boots as I got a good price. Hopefully when the new inners arrive I will have enough bits to last me for a few years.

Have to admit the whole process has put me off Alpinestars in general.

 

Dont think you can get them separately, sure they come as a pair.... I had some replaced under warranty a few years ago as one of the chords broke, they sent a pair to the dealer not just the one that broke, good luck.....

 

What size are the boots? I've always found Alpinstars after sales great! Not that I've had many issues, think it depends on the dealers...

 

Wow, that's pretty awful customer service if you've been waiting since April.

 

on my second pair of Supertech R boots, the eyelets on the inner boot corroded and then frayed the draw string. Emailed Alpinestars 2 weeks ago and as of yet, not response.

 

I was after a pair of inner boots not a single inner. Took me ages to get an answer from a supplier who was willing to actually find out for m if they were available separately from the main boots.

44s. Who did you contact at Alpinestars, I couldn't get even a response from them.

Good luck, I didn't even get a response from Alpinestars.

 

I was told by my Honda dealer that you can build a pair of super tech boots from parts.

I had one of the Velcro tabs fall off within a week of having mine, my dealer sent them to alpinestars to be assessed then replaced or repaired, I think it took 10 days in total.
