So as the title says what's your winter maintenance and mods

Mine are stripping the fairings off and and giving it a good clean ready for next season, also going to fit a quick action throttle, strip out the pair system and fit block off plates, full bleed of the brakes

Bike in the garage. Head indoors. Drink beer and Harvey's Bristol Cream. Watch TT videos. Cry. Keep looking at the calendar waiting for March.

I make sure to give it a daily wash with road salt and oily spray from the motorway.

Seriously though, getting metalwork ACF-50'd and the fairing Gtechniq'd. Considering wiring up the power for my heated jacked and gloves too, although that can wait.

Heated jacket is hard wired on mine. Normally wait until it drops to 2 or 3 degs before plugging in mind. That way, you really feel the benefit.....

And don't forget guys, hose your bike off with cold water 1st to was the salt off. Remember, hot water and soap accelerates the salt action....

I'm just going to crank the heating up when it gets cold, battery will be out soon, going to be adding some quick release calliper hoses over winter, Sp subframe is going to be a repainted in a different colour, Dymags are going Matt Black, going to ditch the HRC quick action throttle if favour of an Accossato unit, new Accossato switch gear, Ohlins FG front forks and some more Titanuim bolts:D possibly light weight radiator and ally tank, want to be around 175kg wet but currently 183kg so I'm going to have my work cut out.... that's the plan but it's subject to change image.jpg

Stay riding until the first salt goes down.
Then on stands until March, fairing off, battery on trickle charge, everything lubed and WD'd and wish your life away roll on Spring 17
