    quick report about the ZX
feels very light and the riding position ( for me at least) is spot on.
changes direction very easy and the brakes are out of this world !!
Fitted a carbon akra which at the moment spits blue flames whilst using the QS ( whats not to like about that , one day I might grow up ? )
    bad bits :-
the slow speed throttle response is horrendous and there is a flat spot the size of Lincolnshire, acts a bit like a very fast two stroke above 8000rpm the bike flies ..........its bloody fast :D
these issues are getting rectified by an ECU flash which as an added bonus will give me an auto blipper for down shifts ( which I have to say is a fantastic thing to have, if you've not ridden a bike with it, then you need to ) wish there wasn't a need to flash or fit a PC but euro4 emissions are killing modern bikes, hope the Blade doesn't suffer these woe's.
let you know how it goes

Russ struggled with his until he had the link pipe and flash. They incr added the fuelling massively which gave it so much more mid range...

One I road was horrendous too. Like a big 600 waiting for revs to build....

You won't be disappointed tho buddy. It'll be a beast

Breaks and suspension are good ain't they :)

how you gettin on with the quickshifter? ive just bought a gen4 track bike without quick shifter. after doing a bit of research i am getting answers veering towards not fitting a shifter, cos if it is not proffesionally set up they eat the gearbox. does anyone know about this either way, or am i ust being a little over cautious. many thanx

sinewave is your man, he had a gen4 that he fitted a QS to.
the gen5 has a QS fitted as standard and works perfect

Unless U R Racing there doesn't seem to be any more problems with QS use than any other Bike.

Ran the Cordona unit on both the Gen 4 and the new 5 and they've been great.
Woolich Racing recommend and supply them too
