Honda Cbr1000 04, 5711 miles from new. Great condition and has been meticulously looked after by myself, a trained Honda technician. Have done 3 oil+filter changes this year alone. Kept in a dry and warm garage, cleaned after most rides and hasn't been ridden in the rain. There are some stone chips on lower fairings and one on the nose cone, but just the usual from been used. Bike is fairly standard except the paint job, talon sprockets, -1f +1r with Did Erv3 chain, rad guard, red coolant hoses and braided brake and clutch lines. Had a big service at the start of the year including plugs, air filters, coolant, brake+clutch fluid, oil+filter, new chain and sprockets and new tyres. Forks were serviced with new oil, seals and bushes and shock was sent to ktech to be serviced at the start of the year too, have reciepts to prove all work carried out. Front and rear calipers, and master cylinders have been cleaned out and new seals/rebuild kits fitted when the forks were serviced. Now has a brand new s20 fitted to the rear, front has plenty of tread left. front and rear pads all have at least 2.5mm on them, and i have an almost new set of front pads to go with the bike too. Has mot till may and will have no issues passing when the next is due. Currently sorn as no longer in use. Beautiful bike and good luck with the sale but only worth around 3500-3750 for an 2004 i reckon?, plus I do find it rather sad that a 16 year bikes has only covered an average of 1 mile per day I got a bit more for my 05 by stripping it back to standard and then selling the upgraded parts sep
That may well be the price for a standard, run of the mill model Si but clearly this is a cut above and as such, surely it's worth a few extra quid?!! 04/05 model is very close to my heart, I'm still running one albeit in track guise. That bike is a credit to you Chris!
I've seen a few for sale at that price, buy are at least 15,000 miles and more. Also nowhere near as condition as mine. So with those, the suspension and brake refurbs and well looked after in the year I've had it is say it's worth it. £4000 gives me a little room for negotiation. 3750 doesn't at all. And I have stripped the majority of aftermarket parts from it And in the year I've owned it I managed 5000 miles on it, so I this I've got some half decent use in my short ownership
Thank you. I'd agree too lot of hard work went into to get to up-to my standards. Got a new project now as I'm too immature for a 1000cc bike on the roads :/
Hi Chris, I am keen to view the bike at some point. I am about 2 hrs away from you. Additionally I am in the process of trying to sell my bike. Does the bike come with any after market parts? Regards Shaun
Yeah got everything listed there if you want more pics or info let me know and I can get more for you
Hi Chris, Can you send me your number please, I want to try come see the Bike in the next couple of weeks if it doesn't go. Cheers Shaun
And ? well, did he buy it,,?? What was wrong with it for you to change the oil and filter 3 times in a year ?
