Was looking forward to the R6, realistically it is just a facelift and not a new bike

Can't disagree but I like the carbon agaist the silver,I am in for a sp2 but the more I see me r1 I dont think I will let it go,so prob won't buy sp2 ,imho the r1 has nothing different to the sp and more than my capability of riding

Graeme , the R1 looks far prettier than the new Blade. Sorry guys, I was very underwhelmed and disappointed by the new blade, it just didn't look anything special.

I was very underwhelmed by the look and feel of the blade, but like the lady said lets see how it comes out after its had a bit of a thrashing by the journos

You can't deny the mechanical excellence of the new blade and doubt it will be anything less than amazing. But, you don't just buy a bike with your head......it looks like a 10 year old bike......it's even got the same engine colour as a 2008 Blade!!!

R1 does nothing for me.....hate the headlights for starters ....plus most normal riders I have seen on them look like there riding a mini Moto....

Simply stunning bike.... but 70 Gees is a lot! You could take any of the current bikes and spend 20k on the right bits and still have a formidable weapon.... and plenty left over for trackdays and beer tokens:D

See I like the lights except for one thing and that's the one dipped and one main thing! Finally Honda have gone back to both lights on for dipped and main

It's not glamorous but this was my highlight. I think I'll be putting an SX next to the blade in the garage soon. Great spec, great value, panniers and can take the doris. Test ride in the new year.
