well as title says turned right at a t junction and the back wheel came round too meet me. Never felt a road so slippy so was looking for your opinions does this look as if it could get painted or am I looking at a new fairing
Maybe cold tyres had u been out long or a little heavy with right hand done it myself your not the first
No been out less than a minute was the junction at the end of the street. So annoyed at myself. Just hope it isn't going to cost a fortune to fix.
Try and get it painted cold tyres cold Tarmac recipe for disaster I am afraid . Got to get heat into your tyres boss at this time of year as long as you ok bikes fix shit happens we have all been there at some point so who have been lucky fair play
Yeah I'll put it down to experience a normally don't have the bike out this time of year. My mate that works in a panel shop has just been round to have a look and reckons it's all sprayable so fingers crossed.
From your pic it looks like the paints just flaked off where it made contact with the road, has the panel cracked or split anywhere that you can see? If not you should be able to just get that resprayed White, although you might have split or broken some of the retaining clips for the fairing but you would need to remove the panel to know if that is the case and fix as appropriate.
No nothing has cracked on the fairing the bar end has snapped though. Just waiting on the price to get the damaged panels resprayed.
hard to tell from the pic. Is the fairing split/cracked? or is it just a heavy graze? Cold wet roads and low sun are a nightmare this time of year.
Shouldn't worry about your tyres iv used them ( & dunlop ss2) over winter & they're fine. It's just a combination of slippy surface & bad luck matey
