It's arrived and built up so I thought I'd give a partial review based on the build quality.

TBH I have read other reviews and there was a question mark on the build quality, specifically the welding and the adjustable (threaded bar) pull bar between the handle and the riser insert.

Well, it seems they have addressed these issues as the welding looks perfect and is very substantial and the pull bar has since been replaced with a machined plate in the same vein as the Envy / 1-Jac stand (they do still include the threaded bar even though it is not needed unless you have the old style mounting plate which is also available as a spare part).

The quality of the small flange head cap screw bolts leaves a little to be desired and one of them had been machined off centre which could be seen when spinning it into the lift handle but changing these for stainless or high tensile bolts is of little cost. Another little gripe is the carry handle which is just fine for the purpose intended but due to the footprint of the unit, when it is folded flat for carrying you cannot lower it to the floor as the lift post touches down first so it has to be stored handle down which seems strange but would have made the footprint wider and taken extra metal to achieve this so is somewhat explainable.
The instructions are ok but not excellent but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to be able to put it together although the build video from Motea's website is misleading as you don't have to assemble some bits but do others and there is no mention of the fact the threaded bar piece and 16mm bolt with washer are not needed for my current application.

On a positive note, the post seems to be assembled sitting at an angle past 90' so there should be now worries of the stand leaning towards the bike with the added worry of your pride and joy falling off it. The castors each have a pair of rubber shod wheels and look heavy duty and there seems to be ample adjustment for the inclination, front to rear.

All in all, this is a very well put together stand and if I were in the market for a stand at full retail price I would certainly take a long hard look at this one, over and above the 1-Jac which is sold at an increased premium of around 100 quid and seems to be of a similar quality or maybe a touch better with the machined castor brackets.
Fine if you want to support a British made product and have the money to do so but now the weak points of this stand have now been addressed you'd have to be mad to ignore it.

I cannot compare it to the Tech-7 or Warrior stands as I have not seen them.

Furthermore when you find a stand of this quality at a knockdown price of £84 inc delivery from Motea in Germany you'd have to be stupid to ignore it! So am I pleased with my purchase.......?

    I'm over the moon. :)

Well delivered and put together. Look at that bad boy

1 perhaps newbie thing for me! Didn't realise the mounts were left hand side only for these types of Jack. Makes usage slightly awkward in my garage.

I assume you can leave the newly fitted mount bolt on the bike all the time?

Bargain for 80 odd quid. With ebay, international shipping and material/labor costs this can't of turned a profit!
