warped disc

hi gents / lasses.

seem to have got a braking vibration on my RR6.
cleaned rivets time and again , makes no difference
so got to be a warped disc.
whats the best to replace with (don,t say brembo)
not a rich man.
does any later year disc fit ?

Had this on a CBR 600, then someone gave me the following advice, so may be worth a try.
Put a nut and bolt through the rivets and make sure their loose, clean with electrical solvent cleaner. Do all the rivets in both discs.
Then, remove the calipers.
Put a DTI on the disc and look for the high and low spots, tap the associated rivets with the shaft of the hammer until the become true.
I didn't believe it would work, but it worked for me.

Had a mates 675 that he swore black and blue had a warped disk and that he had cleaned buttons. Screwed driver through then with some brake cleaner and a few taps. No more "warped" disk.

 

£78 in total to post discs to motoliner

 

There is a place in Notts also depending on where you are, charged me £25 a disc from memory.
