How does the flash kit work? I download file from bike and send to you which I then upload to bike? I have a 2010 with PCV5 and custom map at the moment.
It actually depends on which kit you go for but if you just want one of our upgraded maps put in your ECU, you can just send in your ecu without purchasing a kit too. Options are:- 1) Standard Flash Kit - Allows mapping of your ECU on the bike ideally on the dyno. £342 inc VAT 2) Wide band & log box - Allows mapping of your ECU and auto tuning of the fuel maps - No dyno required to get a custom fuel map. £606 inc VAT 3) Mail in ECU flash - Vastly improved mapping over stock and will run well on the bike but also good to use in conjunction with a PCV if you get it mapped to suit the changes. £180 inc VAT 4) Full custom Remapping of your ECU on the Dyno. £350 inc VAT Discount to all forum members. Thanks for the information Rich. I might as well just go for full custom remapping on the dyno. The bike was custom mapped with PCV, but what appeals with the Woolich flash is the ability to add fuel to solve the on-off throttle response. i.e. the ECU cutting fuel completely when the throttle is closed fully creating an annoying stutter when you open the throttle from closed. This is something that can't be mapped out with PCV.
