Ugly downpipe needs a mod??

Hi All,

Been looking hard at my 2016 black edition blade whilst the weathers been a bit ropey and my eye keeps getting drawn to the ugly down pipes that are on show through the 'V' shaped gap in the fairing behind the front wheel.

I'm thinking that there must be a fine gauze or mesh type material that can be added to this area to keep them out of view but allow the air to flow through.

Has anyone seen a mod or accessory available to purchase for this or am I just being a little too OCD?

I've owned the bike for a couple of months from brand new and although the bike comes with the standard upgrade items such as scorpion can, black levers etc I have added the R&G tail tidy.... and I think this is the last piece needed for my pride and joy.

Yes, that's the sort of thing I'm after, it would be good if I could find one that had 'blade' or 'CBR' written through it.

Now I know what to look for I will search Ebay.

There was a thread not long ago where someone was supplying fireblade logo radiator grills but not sure about the downpipe bit..sorry I can't remember who it was but worth a search on here
