My RR4 won't start despite having a new battery. The rectifier has been tested and the engine turns over so have to assume it's a fuel issue. Has anybody had any experience of this before please?
    Thanks

Did it just stop or has it been laid up for a while?
Basic things to check are Kill switch, make sure the fuel pump primes, possible pinched fuel pipe under the tank, Tilt sensor in that order.

Make sure the main plugs for the headlight loom on the left have a good connection too.

We need to know a couple more symptoms.
    Is the pump priming?
    Any fi light flashing?

Try and give as much information as to what is happening.

I will remove the tank tonight and test the pump, the left hand headlight comes on as normal when I turn the ignition on, nothing seems out of the ordinary in that way.
I have disconnected the headlight when changing the fairing, however I am confident everything went back ok.
I have also changed the indicators and relay.

I'm gonna point the finger back at the tilt switch as you said that you changed the fairing and now it won't run.
It's pretty much mounted at the tip on the nose cone. Make sure it's connected and the right way up. You may be able to access it by removing the screen.

The only other thing I forgot to mention earlier was the side stand switch, but that should be ok if the stand is up and you're not in gear.

There's no need to remove anything, just turn the key to on, flick the switch to run and see if the pump makes a sound for about a second.
If there is no sound but the bike turns over, it'll more than likely be the tip over sensor
If it makes a sound, turns over, but doesn't fire, it'll more than likely be wiring, to the tip over so check the white wire with yellow tracer for continuity.

Thanks, I'm beginning to think that may be where the problem lies too then, I will check it first before doing anything else.
I do already have the tank unbolted so can check the fuel pump anyway.
The stand is down but that shouldn't make any difference, I have started it like that before, it only stops when you put it in gear with the stand down.

You're not the first and you won't be the last.
Mine was a pinched fuel line when I first lifted the tank :D
