I fancy a new lid and quite fancy this one. I've heard it's a bit noisy, which is annoying, but my main worry is that the colour scheme is a bit.....flamboyant for me.

    What do you reckon?

They do it in a gloss finish too, but that's way to flash.

I think on the noise level it'll probably be lower than Mrs K's snoring so I wouldn't worry too much about that :)

Nice lid...very 'stealth' like.....the only issue I've had with my Arais is the visor changing mechanism, but I gather they've changed it on the new ones & it's better

I've fancied an Arai for a while, but nobody has a good word to say about their soundproofing. I do like black gear though.

My last Arai chaser v was certainly quieter than the shoei nxr I've got now. I think a lot of the light/race lids are noisy. Chin curtain & ear plugs have helped a bit.

i have just bought the same colour but different model arai.
They have changed the visor fitting which I found a lot easier also the side pods are smaller so less noisy?

This is quite an interesting video - he explains a bit more about each one. Being US they have different model names. There is also another video of the next tier which I haven't watched but include here also

If I where you I would be going for the noisiest lid you can buy, it might, just might drown out the voices in your head.

Like the look of the Orange/Black Bell helmet as featured in the STG video would match the Repsol well .

Would be good to see some of our motorcycle clothing sellers do product reviews like these US companies.

Yep I prefer it to this year's arai tt colour scheme. In fact I like it that much I can feel my money for a new lounge carpet sliding over towards the lid .....which is your fault for posting the orange one up ;)
