    Morning all
I have finally accepted the inevitable that the akra slip on for my 06 blade is just too expensive. That said my backup options are the yoshi RS5 or Arrow maxi race with carbon end caps. Has anyone on here got either fitted and has photos of it on the bike? Im wanting to see just how far past the tail these cans stick out. Also any experience in build quality, sound etc would be appreciated.

    Cheers in advance

I could cough up the cash for it but to me spending £700 odd on a slip on for a 06 bike is too much

Personally I would wait for a used akra to come up on here and buy that. 3 or 4 have come up for sale in the last few months for around the £300 mark (one of which I bought). If I bought a new arrow or yoshi but really wanted an akra I would always look at it and wish I'd waited. Not that I think there is anything wrong with either of those cans but I do love the look of my akra ;)

Patience grasshopper, true happiness comes to those who wait!

I try never to pay full price/buy new any bike mod. First the boss won't allow it, but also for popular bikes like the Blade there is always stuff on eBay or forum for sale sections. When I had my Blade I got everything I wanted through this forum over the course of 2-3 months. I missed out being too slow on a couple of things, but something else always comes up.

Buy it second hand for £300 and if you love it then happy days. If it doesn't work out you can just sell it again for £300 and you've lost nothing.
