    Hi folks,
Got a problem with my 2016 fireblade.
Eml light is coming on regularly and its down in power.
I've got the Akrapovic exhaust on mine so no 'flap' in exhaust although solenoid still fitted.
Anyone know what a code 35 is likely to mean? Is there a solenoid to control the airbox or something?

You need to make sure the motor is turned back to the correct position if you have fitted a slip on and disconnected the cable. That way the ecu still thinks it is connected and no error codes.

I doubt that is the cause of loss of power though.

Saying that if the ecu thinks there is an error it may restrict power. Make sure servo is in the correct place, clear the error code and thenot see how it is.

Would you know how to make sure it's in correct position? I'm guessing that I remove the plastic from under the seat/above the wheel to access it.

I should add, it's taken around 1500 miles to show any signs of problems

You can also fit a Servo Eliminator and then remove the servo completely.

The bike is booked into Honda during the week so i'll let them have their say but I'll most likely get one of these eliminators for the sake of £40
