    Hi guys...

So I've been using my 2012 blade purely as a track bike.. And recently bought a shorter rear linkage (170mm).. I understand it's supposed to raise the rear up slightly and therefore sharpen the steering up..
Can anyone point me in the direction of a simplified diagram as to how this is achieved?.. The mechanics of the linkage, how making it shorter raises the rear?

    Thanks

The linkage is triangular... therefore reducing the lower link length pulls the swing arm closer to the frame which has the effect of raising the bike.

Well there you go. That makes sense..

Changed the lower link last night to a 5mm shorter one but forgot to measure everything first...
