    Hello all!

New here, look forward to some topical discussion, exchange of ideas, ruthless ribbing and hilarious avatars! Maybe the occasional mention of a blade? :p

Bought a '15 SP cat C last August, just got it back from Rob at RJS, Mallory, tuned (I'll list the goodies at a later date!). Can't wait to use it (Snetterton booked 23rd).. but having a bit of a fluff fitting CRC fairings... anybody got any experience fitting them???

Struggling with the HRC front subframe bottles, seem to be throwing everything out so the belly pan won't meet the uppers (it's an '08-11 fairing, but CRC assure me it should fit)..

Not sure also if there are supposed to be small offset brackets where the belly pan bolts underneath the bike in front of the swingarm??

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also, got a fair few bits to sell from road trim. Some panels gravel rashed but serviceable, lights, rear subframe & seats.. etc etc... Oh.. and a engine!

    Happy razzing y'all!

Not at the mo but I'll take some. The seat unit went on a dream and looks awesome, it is good stuff! So bloody annoying it's an inch away from perfect. My mate's got a 2009 with older style CRC fairing on and he's got small brackets underneath that drop by about an inch to pick up the points in the belly pan. This would make sense as at the mo the chain is dragging on the belly pan too.

Ducati? You got them on in the end I hope?....

:eek:Sounds like you need the brackets too. Fitted them to 2011 blade and a my pals 14 had the bracket too...

Yeah they are great when on but real tight fit on the 959....

    But flimsy tho

Edit - trying to remember if the crc have moulded lug so don't need bracket... pics will help!

Unfortunately I have too much experience fitting tack fairings  can't remember which is which

Where are you putting bottles - by clocks?

    So Jimbo...

In true Frank Bruno stylee.. 'I got my Black & Decker out'

It turned out not to be the bottles (mounted on front of front subframe) themselves but the sensor things mounted above them on the front subframe.. removed them and zip-tied back under the subframe.

It went on greased lightning after that. Actually feeling a bit daft now!

Mounts at the back - I found some tuppence b&q brackets in my Sport Billy bolt bag, banged them straight and used them to drop the rear mounts for the belly pan by about 15mm.. hey presto! Nowhere near the chain and now completely clears the Auspuff, Wunderbar!

Gonna make some better brackets but for now it's tickety boo! Cheers for the feedback Jimbo!

A couple of shots of the finished-ish bike!...

.. first two are where the belly pan bolts in.. oops they're the before pics. So it fits and looks nicey nicey, but clearance is not good exhaust or chain.. so drop em 15/20mm and it's good! Third one does show the fairing clearing the can.

    Weight off my mind.

'Til I got home and remembered I was also supposed to fit my R&G's while I was there.

    D'oh!
