Hi all. First of all i can only apologise as I know this topic has been discussed may times..

I have a 2008 blade and looking to upgrade my brakes, looking at buying the brembo RCS master cylinder, set of braided lines and SBS sintered pads, I have been searching the forum and these seem to be well recommended. My question is: is there anything else I need for the M/C i.e brackets, washers or special bolts that doesnt come in the box. I'm not mechanical minded so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded my suspension last year to K-Tech internals and can honestly say it feels amazing so looking at brakes now and hope to get the same response. Thanks in advance.....

Every thing should be in it apart from fluid bottle and bracket for master cylinde unless you buy the complete kit

Right perfect mate, thanks for that..

Do you recommend anywhere that does the complete kits. There was a guy on here selling one but unfortunately I was too late. Been eyeing up a few on eBay....

You can use your original reservoir but get a ladybird bracket off of eBay and a small jubilee clip to clamp the hose onto the master cylinder

Ye a did read that on a thread on here about a ladybird bracket... I'm currently looking at buying hel braided hoses, so these will fit right onto the M/C with the small jubilee clip ye. And also looking at SBS sintered pads, is there a spicific type, I'm looking to buy these Brake Pads SBS 809RS. Like I say I'm not mechanical minded so please forgive if if I sound totally stupid...

No experience of the RSs but I believe that are more track/race orientated.
HSs are road pad and BTW they are awesome!!

Got a similar set up to you with K-techs internals and brembo braking parts with exception to the calipers, soooo much grip and control

@richie I may be selling a nearly new rcs19 with the reservoir/bracket. Depending on when your looking to buy you might be able to save a few quid.

Just working out if i can bare to strip and sell my bike o_O

You'll need a different banjo bolt as the pitch on the Brembo one provided isn't correct for the hoses.

Im busy stripping it right now mate.

Will have full front setup available, will have to work it out but master has been on for about 700 miles and calipers 400.

    rcs19
M4 calipers + hel braided lines in custom length to match calipers.

Also have brembo clutch lever to match.

Trying to get it sorted today so i can work out prices and get pics etc up.

Brembo M4 Monoblocs are great, make sure they are the real versions so 34mm Pistons all round, SP versions got a cut down with 2 32mm pistons and 2 34 mm pistons.
