Well it's been a lovely Sunday in A&E I went over the handle bars on a bmx track this morning trying to show my bit how it's done .. FAIL !! lOl I face suffered for a few feet . Done a scorpion ( feet come over and touched my head ) lol Got up and realised iv minced half my face and palms Looked at my finger and it's proper crooked , pain free but I can't move it atall A couple of. X-rays and a scan an it's not broken but iv torn the tendons off the end of my finger . Hit it in a bloody splint for 6 weeks now
Jeez Dan that sounds like a sore 1. My mate came of his mountain bike while doing some downhill in October. He jumped his first table top then went on to the next 1 only to over cook it and landed in a burn. Brocken ribs, collarbone and concussion. He had to ride the rest of the coarse like that and then drive his van to the hospital trying not to fall asleep. He was lucky he was wearing his helmet as it had split where his head hit the ground. I never go on the mountain bike without 1 now.

The worst part was having a nurse scrub all the mud and gravel out of my face . Bitch was Evil !!! Lol I'm sure she was enjoying it as well ha ha I got to keep my finger straight now so that the tendons re attach It's just the last joint is bent over and I can't move it, straighten it or even feel it . Should be cool and even if the tendons don't attach it's only my left ring finger so can still grip the bars lol
Yeah not looking forward to the shower !! Lol Or the looks I'm going to get in work tomorrow . It's swollen up now and looks like somebody has smacked me in the side of my head . Gonna look a right thug ha ha

I know mate . I had just put Leigh's helmet , gloves and knee pads on as well . Hopfully learnt my lesson now Rough and ready look ey ? Could work to my benefit ! ha ha
It's not worth doing if the risk of pain and injury isn't there!! But when it bites your ass it's a killer!! Glad your ok (ish) dude.... Look like me on a regular basis, I too have a massive belief of talent I run out of quite often... But all good fun Get well soon mate
