Honda E-cushion Seat

    I know there are a couple of threads on here relating to members having upgraded from the stock seat to the Honda E-cushion seat, but none have really described quite how great an improvement it is!

    I'm thinking of buying one, not because I currently do long mileage days, but because I may in future, and if I keep the blade for 5+ years, why not have maximum comfort in my day-to-day riding? However it is an expensive upgrade considering the stock seat isn't exactly 'uncomfortable'!

    Therefore, for you guys who have decided to upgrade, is it a massive improvement or subtle? How exactly does it feel different etc? Does it look better? In hindsight do you regret the money spent or consider it well worth it?!!

    I would say money well spent comfort ,looks etc . . I got a used one on flee bay just keep a look out if you do not want to pay for a new one ;)

    Comfort is key and having went to a E cushion a few years ago I never looked back

    Just feels better on the old behind that the standard seat. And much much better after 8-10 hours days touring europe but even makes a difference after a few hours out on the bike on a sunny morning

    Massive difference but there are plenty of none OE upgrades available for half the the cost of the comfort seat!

    I've went for the comfort foam and seat cover from a local guy in Falkirk. Pick it up on Sat so i'll get some pictures up and try it out for size. Was noticeably cheaper than the E Seat. His eBay seller id is TOPHILLS

    I bought the Honda e seat from eBay . It looks great and is a lot more comfortable.

    Yeah, got a lovely seat from Tophills on eBay too. Looks like it was made for my 09 HRC colours, so much more comfort and properly professional quality finish.

    Does anyone know if Honda is coming out with a E-cushion seat for the 2017 and newer Fireblades?

    I had one on my previous 2011 and loved it.

    Guys.....those of you who have bought a seat cover off TOPHILLS off ebay, what is the exact description of the product so I can successfully search it (or the item number) I'm struggling to find the seller. Also roughly how thick is the padding if at all? Cheers
