But then i noticed some smoke and a kinda burning smell from near the radiator. Left her parked just next to my local dealer so i can go first thing in the morning. Any idea what it can be guys?

Seemingly something to do with the 'rough running' you posted about the other day. You're obviously at the dealer as I write this, so please let us know how you go!

Well had a call from the mecanic. He said it was leaking oil and he suspects it could be the rocker cover. A few hours of labour just to get to that. Looks like a nice expensive christmas present i’m about to have

So in the end it was a burnt stator that caused the valve cover gasket to blow off and leak oil.
The joke: around £800. A nice christmas present. Just praying that after this the bike will be good for a few thousand miles at least.
If any of you have an oil leak from the valve cover gasket tell the mechanic to check the stator as mine wasnt even going to be checked as ot seemed to be ok. Found out in an american forum that only replacing the valve cover gasket wouldnt solve the problem as it would blow out again rather sooner than later. Seems to be quite common on 04-05 blades
