    Hi everyone,my name is Phil,from Ireland,iv been on bikes since my teens,my only means of transport,anyway Iv had r1s to gsxr,sp1,rsv,ducati the list goes on,anyway I have just got myself a 2008 cbr1000rr,this is my 4th fireblade,and I have an 97 zx6r f3 for my daily commuter,just thought I would say hi and I'm sure I will be looking for your knowledge of the 2008 cbr1000rr on mods and upgrades

    Yep, plenty of advice and assistance on here. I've learnt heaps in my short time as a member, and purchased a few goodies!!

    I guess you might start with a R & G tail tidy?

    Yep have to get rid of that horrible reg plate holder,it's a pity that reg holder is not bolted on as it could be an easy fix

    Cheers everyone for the warm welcome,can anyone tell me the 2010 cbr1000rr the reg plate holder is a bolt on but the undertray remains,will that undertray fit on a 2008 cbr1000rr as I can source one cheap

    2008 to 11 models are the same in most respects.

    HOWEVER, an undertray of a non-ABS will not fit an ABS model, as there are major differences because of ABS modules.

    Do you know if the undertray off an 2010 abs model will fit 2008 non and?

    Hi Phil. I'm sorry I can't offer a correct answer. I IMAGINE the attachment points would be the same; you'd just have a bigger undertray full of nothing, if you get what I mean.

    I hope someone else can give you a precise answer.
