Hi all. I'm Darren. Ive had a number of nikes over the years but bought myself a 2016 sp blade early last year and have been having issues with the ABS system which led me here. Its beem back to honda ireland three times now and tomorrow will be rh3 fourth. Any advice on how the issue has been fixed for others would be great.
Hi Darren...I've just read your comment in the abs thread & despite them having bled it previously, your system still has air in it. I've had same probs with my 11 plate abs. Last time it was doing it, they had it 5 days trying to sort it but fingers crossed it's been ok since then. Hope you get sorted.
Hi Darren. I changed to Adidas. Alright, I know. If I've got nothing sensible to say, don't say anything at all.
They had it almost three months.. on and off its just a fuckim joke. Problem is i bought the bike in the uk and brought it back to Ireland so i cant bring it to them and tell them to give me a new one because i didnt buy it from them. Bit of a nightmare but what do you do apart from keeo bringing it back
I think from previous posts it sometimes depends on the technician who does it. Some are better than others & it's obvious that yours is not getting fettled properly. Main dealers don't always mean best service, I've had some bad experiences with them when they've obviously let a trainee or a doofas loose & buggered up simple jobs!
Agree. This is not a rare problem. Whilst we would all agree that any trainee or apprentice must gain experience, there has to be reasonable supervision. We are not talking about installing a mirror or indicator; we are talking brakes. This comes down to a life-threatening issue and should be treated as such by both Honda and any repair/service outlet.
