Chain guards

hi guys. Following on from the custom machining thread....

ColinBR has very kindly offered to lend me the chain guard he made for himself to take measurements from so I can machine them up.

Colin has informed me they will fit from an 08-16/17 and a 04-07 with a rivetnut.

Without looking at the part properly I would imagine I would be charging around £75 each (black anodised) or £65 (brushed aluminium).

How many people would be interested in one? The more interest hopefully the cheaper they will become. Hoping to also put some on eBay for More than offered to you guys.

I want one 100%......anodised black, no logos or anything, just plain black.

When you say rivet nut......do you mean the existing nut that is used to retain the stock plastic chain guard?

I’m not 100% sure. Haven’t had my oem guard off yet

 

Only on the 06-07 bikes do you need to add a rivnut to the swingarm.

The 08 onwards bikes just use the existing hole that the OEM chain guard uses

Once I’ve got a pattern part I’ll send pictures of what they are like and full options and costs etc. ColinBR has made them before and I’m sure his quality was top notch, as will mine be

 

Id be interested in an all black or black/polished metal like the rizoma 2 part one?

Same as mr HRC, no logo etc.

 

Can do many different options. As standard they won’t be engraved but am able to engrave at extra cost if needed/wanted by others

 

So........the big question on everyone's lips is

WHEN CAN I HAVE ONE???!!!!
