Hi Bud, Sorry but what does IMHO mean? I will only use the bike on sunny days and probably for short(ish) journeys, so mileage will never be great. Just want something that will give great grip and not really concerned about longevity. I would just have used the manufacturers recommended tyre pressures, what do you suggest? Regards Dan
There ya go.....& a few others too just in case.... Might help if you type in capitals as well as I think his eyesights a bit shonky too
IMHO In my honest opinion, I use diablo rosso tyres for the road. I normal have 36psi on the rear, as it gets hotter quicker, and better grip, this is for short runs. If I'm going for a longer journey, ill have 38/40psi in the rear.
Interesting comment. Tyre brands and pressures will always be a personal preference, but I have long felt that 42 rear is too high. Many contributors on here support the 36 to 38 range, perhaps sacrificing a thousand miles wear for increased grip and feel.
I am new to this forum stuff, but i must say how impressed I am with the community spirit shown. May be that people accept this as "normal" but from my point of view its amazing! Thank you.
Metz m7rr for me...and that's high mileage all year biking. I run 36 rear in the summer but 40 at other times.
Bike will be summer use only. Thank God my days of riding all year round are in the past! Thanks for advice.Tyre pressures seem to be a matter of personal preference!
Hi Buddy, Think also will go for Super Corsas. I will only use bike on sunny days and will not do high miles so grip is more important than longevity. Cheers
