I use Bridgestone BT023 great tyre this is the 3rd blade I’ve used them on and I’ve never had any issues with them either dry or wet riding conditions. Has anyone tried the T30 as I know these tyres took over the BT023?
I have t30 Evo's on my blade at the moment and yesterday morning had the rear break loose on my going around a corner at slow speed. I have zero confidence in them at the moment when its wet and very cold. have ordered Metzeler M7RR's now due to reviews on here so will report back after they have been fitted! btw - i had bridgestones on a CBR600RR years ago and remember them being amazing in the wet...maybe a faulty set on my bike so don't just go on my feedback!
What pressure do you have on the t30 evo, just got a set, still getting a feel for them, pilot 2 prior
Just as an FYI all, there’s an offer on Pirelli’s and Metzeler at the mo; £30 cashback when you buy a set, fitted to the bike. I took loose wheels in to my tyre dealer and they put it through as “fitted”, at no extra cost with a nod and a wink Thought it might be useful for anyone getting some new rubber fitted for the summer!
Thanks need a new pair of super corsa SP soon got 3k out of original set...I think the electronic set up helps them wear better..,
Michelin Power RS now Power GP a good wearing all rounder. Grip is more than ample for road and clears heavy rain well. Plenty of feedback and slides in quite a controlled way with no dramas. Negatives, on the first set I got the front fell off a cliff at around 3000 miles by that I mean unridable even though no where near wear markers. I tend to change as a pair now. I get about 2500 on a rear, as soon as it hits the wear marker it loses rubber down to cord in a matter of very low hundreds. Change before wear markers. Some may find them a bit slow to tip in.
2019 SP 3500ish miles on RS10s A and fast B roads, rear is shot white lining and marking up, front is passable. About to have S22s fitted by 5 star Honda dealer but facing a charge of £438-00 to supply and fit. Have prices really gone that mad?
No not that bad, I’d say 100 quid or just over is the main dealer fitting them, you must be loaded or mad using a main dealer for tyres
I had a pair of Metzeler M9rr fitted in June for just under £370. That was wheels on at my house. Whilst nattering to the fitter he did mention Bridgestone were having supply problems.
I got an S22 front from a main dealer last month, can't find a tyre shop near me and not up to doing it myself. £91 for the tyre £37 50 to fit.
Michelin Power Cup 2 - 120/70/17 - Trackday Only : Has served we well on 2 Track Day sessions at Donington. Wearing well, provides plenty of feedback from the front. 30 PSI Cold / 35 PSI Hot.
