I think some seasons have shown us that we can't discount anything, and that must include seeing Lorenzo on a Honda. Many have written him off because of his difficulties at Ducati, but that doesn't mean he can't ride. We just look back a few years and remember Rossi's form after leaving Ducati. I'm not a great follower of Lorenzo, but, if the paddock rumours about his going to Suzuki are true, we could see his old form.
Jorge Lorenzo is definitely not done........what ever he's on next season I'm sure we'll see a return to form. I certainly hope so anyway!
I don't think Lorenzo lost form he just cant ride a ducati just like Rossi couldn't, only a few riders have properly mastered the duke, Stoner and Dovi being the best. Plus Lorenzo has never been good in traffic, he only won on the Yamaha when he could get off the front
Would have been but it was too busy , was on my own as well as everyone else was at work and it was my last day off
I'm not sure Lorenzo has the desire any more. I can't see him going to any team unless he is the Number 1 rider on an easy to ride championship winning ready bike. With the upcoming young riders out there I think he has had his day, personally I won't miss him.
But there was people that said that about Rossi while he was at Ducati, he looked positively depressed throughout his two dismal season's with them. Lorenzo is still one of the fastest rider's on the grid and still only 30 years old, he just can't get the Ducati to work for him (nor could the greatest motorcycle racer that ever lived) so I'm just really interested to see where he goes and start winning races again! I've followed him since he was on the Fortuna Aprilia in 250's so suppose you could say I'm a loyal fan!
Only as a test rider. Tech 3 will want fresh blood. Tech 3 has a history of 'has beens' or 'wanna bees'. Go all the way back to Colin Edwards and forwards to Bradley Smith - no real results between the two of them. Tech 3s only performers have been Pol Esparago and now Zarco, who will undoubtedly be their best yet performer. Pedrosa is finished. End of story!
Hmm......interesting theory Nigel, the pundits on BT sport are saying he's already done enough to deserve to keep his ride with HRC. While I don't personally think that will happen, he's got at least another 3 or 4 years in him yet and I think a fresh outlook in a different team will rejuvenate him! Straight swap him and Zarco is what I'm predicting, with Lorenzo to suzuki!
