    Hi all,

I have a 954 race bike (see below pics) and i'm needing to upgrade my calipers to radial type blocks.

My initial thoughts are that I will change out the lower part of the fork from a 1000rr whether it be a 04 to 17 model?

Please could I ask some 1000RR owners if they could measure the top of lower fork to the wheel centre for me. (See pic below of my bike as an example) Also the diameter of the stanction would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

Hi Mike. From my 'collection' I advise:

    2004: 117mm
    2011: 117mm
2018: 90mm (Note: This is an SP2 with Ohlins suspension so might well be different measurement to standard)

Edited to say: What's the go here? 3 messages over 4 years and you're an 'Active' member, whereas I have 1356 (many of which comprise bullcrap:D) and I'm just a lowly 'Member'.:(
I know there is a saying that 'less is more', but heck, I never thought I'd get to see evidence of it!

All the best with the forks/brakes;).
