Just some shite I found on ebay, the originals had what looked like gritty chewing gum embedded into them and It wouldn't clean off so just needed a quick fix!
Haha just edited to say.....'it' wouldn't clean off......not......'i' wouldn't clean it off! But coming from Mr OCD himself??? Pah
Bought a SP subframe and a can of black plastidip! Found it for 190€ posted! From an endurance race team, so it looks brand new, just used during the engine break-in. This will continue the update of my 2010 bike
Had the pegs off & street hooks fitted along with GB engine covers, rad guard and small led indicator's with new flasher relay. Reset the ecu being as battery off & is running smoother now as well...happy days well........until the next buying binge
Looking great, Lozzy. Needs a bit of Harpic on the header pipes though. When does it go in to get ABS fitted?
If you mention ABS again....the only place some Harpic will be going.......is up YOUR pipe Nigelwigel
Been out on my RR4 today. It is just sooo good. No wonder the track guys like them. I am now convinced that their geometry is much better set up than the later models (food for debate I guess) including the 2017-18. It sits so well, is more comfortable, and inspires confidence. I feel as if I should buy a 'Repsol' version, but alas, I couldn't cop the flack from you guys after (friendly) dissing Repsols for months.
. . . and for the afternoon I did some serious detailing on my VF. For anyone who has had one of these, you will remember what a bleedin' pain the wheels are to clean. Just so finicky. I've had a few goes now and am sure that I have spent in excess of 6 hours just on the wheels with WD 40 and Mr Sheen. But it's coming up to spec now:
Cheers, Gary. It's an '85 model. The first ones in 1984 had the colours predominantly reversed, i.e. mainly red tank, red seat etc. The last model ('G' - 1986) was more blue and white akin to the Rothmans livery. It really is a dinosaur, but a nice one at that. 224 kilos, compared to the Blade's 185ish makes pushing it into my lounge room a major chore!! I love it, but in reality it is a poor man's RC45.
Still quality if it wasn’t for these bikes we wouldn’t have the bikes we have today great Honda history
