Finally accumulated enough miles on my 2018 for its first service. Now gathering one of my cleaning kits to de-gunk the rear wheel. To be fair, they didn't overdo it, but it appears they used wax which actually seems stickier than Josh Brookes' moustache wax!
Huh? That must be a 'Northern' joke. I'm way lost on that one. Aha, no I'm not; just Googled it. Fancy asking that of an ageing pensioner who has to crush Viagra into his morning cup of tea just to maintain his pulse - never mind getting onto the cocktail part!! .
Apparently the nurses in a hospital up here were putting viagra in old blokes evening cuppa. Aparently it stopped them rolling out of bed Have you tried having iron tablets with your Viagra, apparently it makes a useful compass IGMC
Carried out the ECU reset - took it for a little ride around the way, seemed better but that could just be my imagination Cleaned the chain and lubed with Silkolene Non-fling lube - will have to do until I get new chain and sprox Also pulled a fekkin great nail out of the tyre
That's one hellova nail, Hitch. You look fortunate in that it didn't penetrate the tyre, but just skimmed beneath the surface?
Today I ordered touch-up paint (http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colours.php?setlocale=true) for white fairings. My 2011 had copped a few stone chips from the previous owner, and the VF has a blemish on the lower fairing where the area around a fitting point is crazed. Sod's law that the two whites are different, therefore requiring double expense and a basecoat for one. Will obviously take advantage of the warmer weather to ensure the paint 'glosses up'. Tomorrow morning I take the RR4 to Coventry for ECU reflash. Stay tuned.
Yeah, I performed the obligatory 'gob' test to check for bubbles/air leaks after initially yanking it about; then I just bit the bullet and pulled it out. It had gone in almost horizontal and was just stuck in the meat of the tread, it didn't penetrate the carcass thankfully.
You should have got @PauloHRC , I'm sure I read something about his tongue doing the rounds. Lozzy's nice carbon heel plates maybe?
