Does the bike have to be run on a dyno for a map to be loaded with this software or do you just buy a map from Woolwich, just wondering as I am thinking of getting my ecu flashed
Hi. It's kinda like a power commander in sense your talking. They have couple maps you can load onto ecu no need for dyno. All done through the software on laptop etc. Same with disabling exhaust servo for example etc Obviously to fine tune and get perfect mapping can use a dyno. Good thing with this unit is does a hell of a lot more fueling ignition maps etc wise than a power commander and nothing is needed left on bike. You plug it in under seat do your stuff on laptop send to ecu unplug. Job done
Ye I like the sound of it , being able to disable the fuel cut etc, just not sure of my local dyno tuner would map the bike if I supply the software and hardware, iv only ever got a pc mapped on the dyno before , I will try give them a call tomorrow and see what he thinks, ecu flash works out as the same price as buying the hardware and dyno time
He should be able too. Kind of the same as power commander with the mapping etc but yeah just can tune a lot more even the map you get from woolich way better and it's cheaper than pcv and does a lot more and no hassle to install etc
