Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself: I've been a biker since 2003 and in that time have owned three bikes an sv650s (my first love) followed by a hanspree (sold as a result of divorce) and now finally I have found the cash to buy a repsol fireblade with akrapovic exhaust as part of the sports pack. I bought it from georgewhite in Swindon and would have recommended pat and mark to anyone but now the company has sadly gone bust. I'm chuffed to bits to be an fireblade owner and the next thing for me to do is learn to handle the big power increase, Ron haslam race school here I come. Anyway hi to everyone here I look forward to losing the chicken strips.
Welcome fella, get some pics up. I had my gix from whites good people sad it's shut. Can't remember if my gap insurance is with them or a broker through them ?
Pics as requested, don't want to get off to a bad start :0) BTW the massive chicken strips are due to the bike having done only 30miles and collecting it on a cold icy day..... i aim to crank it over as soon as possible.
Welcome to the forum matey, lovely bike, dont worry about the chicken strips we really do understand, nothing worse than picking up your new bike with new shiney tyres fitted Nice to see another local I am in yeovile, so not to far
Hi Thorpy Another westcountry boy, excellent. One tip. If he asks, don't lend Remal any money. Oh!....Or give him your address. Ken
Hi Thorpy .Don't forget the Venture Shield system i had the 06 Repsol and after 1 season of mayhem the front paint looked like it had been hit with a twelve bore.
Hello, & welcome, just to clear things up , i think you will find that the Castrol is the fastest colour scheme , closely followed the Repsol. Fact.
thanks for the welcome.......as for which is faster, prove it! I've now put a HIRE BIKE sticker on mine and everyone knows hire vehicles are the fastest around so i must win.
