Good evening, guys! The idea came to squeeze the most out of your blade 2008. How much does your blade show the wheel forces and what is installed on it just to increase power?

Now only the BMC zero-resistance filter is installed, slip on Leo Vince GP Evo 2 and I understand that this is not enough.
I want more power in the middle. The plans to establish PC5 and Z-bomb and change my Leo Vince on the full Youshimura R77 or full Arrow. Will it add 12-15hp compared to the stock? I can add to this the replacement of sprockets by -1/+2

P.S. As far as I know, the blade shows the least amount of rwhp among its classmates in 2008. This is true ?

The emission laws screwed it all up for the blade. I'm not happy with mine at lower rpm.i have to ring it's neck to get Anywhere and then it feels like your thrashing the arse off it. I've not dyno'd mine and it's standard. I'm changing the gearing to see if I can live with it.

166.86 rwhp with a K&N Air Filter, Power Commander V, Jardine RT5 can, Yoshimura headers, Bazzaz ZBomb.

However the number will change depending on the Dyno you use.
Before this, I tested it in a different Dyno, without the Yoshimura headers and the Bazzaz ZBomb, and the result was 176.55 rwhp, which I find a bit unrealistic, which leads me to the conclusion that the 166.86 rwhp from the last test is probably around the real rwhp it actually has.

I don't understand what all the rave is about each bike's power output. What is the purpose?

It smacks of the old 'my bollocks are bigger than yours' banter.

I love my bikes for what they are and what they do, but I couldn't be frigged whether they're putting out 185 or 155. (just sayin':))

Well, I can only speak for my self... My case was just curiosity to know the numbers. Since I was already at the Dyno to tune the Power Commander V, there was no harm in knowing the numbers! :D
However, 99.9% of the time I ride the bike just for commuting, so, yeah... could have way less hp, that it would really hurt. :p

You shouldn’t be wringing its neck, the Blade has loads of low end torque. Change the filter and plugs... it does come alive at 8k revs and above.....but as for lack of low end....????

In 6th gear? If you think it’s lacking for on road use, you ain’t riding it right :D

On track, sure, it’s down on power to most current bikes, but the lack of traction control etc.... sure makes up for it.

If it’s good for the king of the mountain at the TT for years on end, then it’s good enough for us mere mortals on the road.

Unless you are all McGuiness beaters??? o_O

I doubt any of us here can use the full potential of our bikes.

Well, maybe 'some' old gits. I still like to see 3 digits on my speedo.

And before @Lozzy attacks me AGAIN:p, my speedo IS calibrated in mph!

I consulted the Great Book Of Many Things and it clearly states, "HRC bikes have all the horsepowers."
