Sorry if this has already been discussed on other threads. I picked up my 2012 blade today and I've heard that there is an ABS model and a non ABS model. How do I know if mine has ABS? Cant see anything in the manual about it.
Like this in middle of disk on front wheel. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/202396033154
Cheers. Mine is non ABS then which I’m thinking from looking at that picture of all that extra bulk underneath is maybe not a bad thing.
This thread reminds me of how 'innocent' we can be when receiving a new bike. When I purchased my RRB (2011) last November, I believed that all 08 onwards had ABS. It wasn't until I'd had the bike for a couple of weeks that I twigged that the ABS light was not coming on. Only after reading the Owner's Manual did I learn that there were both ABS and non-ABS models. I was spewing at first, thinking I'd been ripped off. Different train of thought after reading all the ABS problem threads on here though! So I was also a 'lucky bastard'!
from all the ABS issues all over the forum should I say: If the brakes work, then it is non ASB. If the brakes don't work, then it is ABS
