How to change +MPH/KM on clock CBR 1000rr 2010 I try this and it does not work on my one 1.Turn the Ignition switch ON 2.Press and hold both control button A and B (A is the top button) for more than 2 seconds. 3.Press control button A to select miles/gal or km/l 4.Press control button B
Hi Jack. You might know from the Owner's Manual that this facility operates only on 'E, III E, and VE only'. Is it possible yours might be an import from France or Europe?
Ok, that means that you can't change it. Ref: CBR1000RR-RA QOwner's Manual at page 20. (I have a 2011, by the way)
Not that I am aware of. Best advice would come from a dealer I imagine. There seems no real logic why Honda would do that, unless they believe there is no likelihood of owners needing to change from metric to imperial in the Euro Zone. However, the owner of a French build cannot, according to the manual, change from kilometres to miles after crossing the Channel to England. Weird. What do you actually need to change on yours?
I need to change from km to mph. I will try maybe people who are doing a meter correction, what do you think?
Jack - did you resolve this? I am looking into importing my Italian Reg'd CBR1000RR 2006 and need to do the same. I found this gizzmo on eBay which says it will do the conversion? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-20...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Some clocks have the option to change it, some don't. If your clocks don't have the option, you can only do it by buying another one,

Wow! Just scored a downvote for perfectly concise information in post number 2. I am absolutely positive that member @Sp0oner would not do this on purpose. This highlights what I have always maintained: moderators ( @sps170373 ?) should re-evaluate this function, OR simplify its use for mobile devices.
Now now @nigelrb don't go starting all that off again. If it was a mistake I'm sure it will be retracted, if not then so be it. Theres too much PC namby pampbyness around as there is. PS feel free to downvote this if it make you feel better
That's part of my point BSS, that the downvote is often used as vengeance or retribution. I would not downvote you or anyone for expressing opinion. If I have a disagreement with any post, most know I would raise it in text rather than by the click of a mouse. The proof is in the pudding so to speak. My member 'stats' verify that I have not made one negative vote against any member.
Sorry Nigel didn’t even know i’d done it so glad you mentioned me in your post to alert me and i’ve rectified it now!
Unfortunately I don’t have the access or privileges to change the functionality of the site, but yes the downvote button does need repositioning due to people’s chubby fingers when scrolling
