Hi - I have a 2014 Blade and am after used fairing panels to fit to my bike to save the perfect condition of its originals - what year fairings will fit straight on and would panels/parts from different years fit together (eg will 2010 nose fairing fit straight on to my bike and connect to 2014 side panels)?

Just get a set of Chinese fairings on ebay for around £250 and keep your originals mint as i have done. You will need a set specific to the year of your bike. For a start a nose cone for a 2010 will not fit your 2014 bike, the lights are a different shape.

thanks - are the Chinese sets straight forward to fit? Did you need to cutout headlight holes etc.?

They come ready to fit to a road bike, you shouldn't have any problems other than deciding which design to go for!!

They fit is great and I was 100% happy.....they're doing the job they were intended for anyway.

I've posted many positive messages on here about Chinese fairings and some tips to help fit them from my experiences......I'm not expert mind:D

I saw Nigel's fairing but can't find any chinese copies of 2012 - 2015... btw I have got all but my top fairing off now - what a twat of a task - any suggestions on removal of the top part... it is unclipped at sides and under the lights but I'm buggered if I can see how it is stuck on!!!

Its connected to the frame via the holes where the air intakes enter the frame. A gentle but firm wiggle and tug will see it come free! Really easy once you've done it.

Yes the headlight is screwed to the back of the front fairing. Have to take the whole assembly off and then remove the headlight afterwards.
