Evening All! RR7 in HRC arrives tomorrow! Always wanted a Blade so its a bit of a dream come true, as cliche'd as that may sound. Only been back on bikes after a long lay off for a couple of years; Coming from an SV1000S so will have to recalibrate a little! I shall hit the tyres section straight away and see where the common wisdom lies, I've really got on with Michelin Pilot 2CT's so will see if they get a mention or if Metz Racetec gets any votes. Its running stock suspension so I shall get it all back to factory settings (if anyone has the settings to hand I'd be very obliged) and then setup static/rider sag; damping will have to wait until I can get to play properly in the Spring. I usually find a good setting but again, if theres any standard mods or recommendations for an 07 with 15k on the clock, again, I'd be very grateful! I'll be here a far bit reading around so hope you lot are a friendly lot!
Hi Shobo, and welcome. Good choice in the RR7, and as you'll learn on here, the HRC version is indisputably the fastest.
Shame about the HRC colours, I think they believe it is the fastest because the repsols have already packed up and left by the time the HRC's get there! All jokes aside, welcome!
hi and welcome! Everyone knows an HRC badge makes you the fastest..pretty much qualifies you to race in MotoGP.
thanks for the welcomes! here she is! scrubbed in the new back tyre yesterday and meeting up with people today. Im down near Southampton and will be scratching around the A272 and surrounding roads this afternoon. really pleased the weather has been kind and let me have a play! Fair weather fun only for me!
Looks great!! I truly LOVE that colour scheme as I have said before upon seeing @Selmer50mark 's. I have an 04 in the red/blue/white which is a very poor relation in comparison. Might have to do the Chinese fairings to that, too!!
