Hi I don't think so as my trusty old optimate had to be replaced as the sp has a Lithium battery...so I got the dealer to throw one in.....

2 or 3 would be expected on an all new model. 5 is a bit excessive though. 2017 fireblade had 1 officially didn't it? Several more unofficial if you count the throttle updates done on the 2019 bike though.

Nothing wrong on my throttle.....or ecu.....however better than fuel leaking out of the tank and catching fire or burning your bollocks off

It's Italian, bit of fire is to be expected.

Yep, the 2017 was the water seeping into the fuel filler. Delayed delivery for some guys, including a member on here but I don't recall his tag. I know it wasn't @nozdog though because I would have recognised the avatar:D:D

I will also manage the odd dry day here and there until the real season starts Awesome bike and one of the best blades I have ridden although they are all brilliant. I have done over 220 miles in a single day and could have repeated it and I am no youngster. Enjoy it when it comes. Posting the pictures reminds just me how lucky I am. And how great 2019 will be.

    Happy new year all...........
