Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my fireblade 918 brakes so they are a bit better. I have read that apparently 929 front calipers and a 954 rear caliper fit straight on and are a decent improvement on the original brakes. Has anyone done this to their bike, or any thing else which has improved the brakes? I was going to change discs and pads for better ones but heard this way is a good option as well
Hi, and welcome. Depending on condition of bike, why don't you just try new good pads first before taking the plunge on calipers etc?
Yeah that's a good option. Had a cbr600f before and the brakes were a lot sharper. Was thinking new pads and upgrading to a decent set of discs as well
