    Hi Val, and welcome.

Always amazes me how one state out of 50 has the pull to have a totally different bike manufactured (emissions control) than the rest of the world. Obviously, huge sales justify it.

Is 'dog riding' allowed in UK, anyone?

I'm wondering if our over 'duty of care' laws would prevent it.

I'm only guessing that it must in a country so renowned for its love and protection of dogs. And of course there's a spin off to the safety of the rider should the canine cause an imbalance, say, mid-corner.

Where the dog is positioned would come under not being in proper control of your vehicle legislation.
You see small dogs in panniers and top boxes over here...there are no issues with that.

    Yeah, good call.

No matter how hard I try, my damn cat just won't stay put on my tank - even with its fave cushion:(;).

You tried Velcro, supeglue or contact adhesive? Just make sure you stick in on straighter than your tank pad :p
