No, I suppose not. Aside from the supposed declining trend of sports bikes, Honda hasn't really made any serious upgrades since the 2008 model. Other makes have made gigantic and radical changes which is why we've seen so many switch to the likes of Yamaha, BMW, and Ducati.

I guess this is what happens when a company remains static for a period. By 'static' I refer to their road bike improvements rather than track successes. There seems to be many a long-term Honda devotee leaving the ranks. I have already posted about my interest in a new 2020 Blade, but I wonder if I'll be prepared to open my eyes to other brands. With the likes of the well-travelled @Mattie660 (and others) now astride an R1, it does make me think.
